The parish of Orwell and Portmoak is located between the picturesque villages of Milnathort and Scotlandwell within the presbytery of Perth.  Orwell Church overlooks Milnathort from its location in the village’s Ba’Hill, while Portmoak Church can be found on Main Street, Scotlandwell.

Church Office

Our church office is open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 2pm.  You are always assured of a welcome from our team of volunteers who share the staffing of the office between these hours.  The office is the administrative centre of the parish but also serves as a shop, stocking a small selection of goods for purchase, including Fairtrade products, cards and small gifts. In addition, we offer a small selection of community services, including printing and recycling.  Please do pop in and take a look at what we can offer, or just to have a friendly chat.  We look forward to meeting you soon!

If calling the office outside of our opening hours, please do leave a message and someone will call you back as soon as possible.

Please click on the map below for a link showing the location of the church office.

Order of Service

The church’s weekly order of service and bulletin is prepared in the church office.  You may contact the office by telephone or email to request notices be added to this, which will be intimated in both churches.  Please note that any notices should be received by a Wednesday for inclusion in the following Sunday’s bulletin.

We are always looking for people to volunteer to help in the church office as well as other areas of our ministry.  If you feel able to offer, please get in touch via the church office.
