We offer a variety of ways of meeting together for worship at different points in the week. Listed below are our current worship opportunities.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday morning, two worship services are held as detailed below:

10am at Portmoak Church

11.30am at Orwell Church

In each church, Junior Church runs during term time and a creche area is available for young children to sit in with their families during the services.

All-Age Joint Services

These are held on the first Sunday of each month at 10.30am. These are held alternate months in Orwell or Portmoak Church.

Communion services take place on the second Sundays in March, June, September and December.

Evening Services - 6.30pm

These services take place in Orwell Church Hall on the second Sunday of the month.  We currently worship together for our evening services with Kinross Parish Church and an evening service takes place in Kinross on the last Sunday of every month. We welcome increased opportunities to share in worship and fellowship between our congregations.

Messy Church

Messy Church runs at Orwell and Portmoak approximately monthly, usually on the last Saturday of the month from 4pm to 6pm.  This is an all-age way of being church and a chance for busy families to spend some quality time together in a dynamic, interactive, fun and messy way while having the opportunity to hear about and encounter Jesus. It involves crafts and creativity, active worship, stories and dramas as well as the opportunity to share in a meal together as a family and with other families.  Messy Church can be perceived as being all about children.  However, please be assured that the words ‘all age’ mean just that! It is as much for the big kids among us as the small! ALL are welcome - young, old and everyone in between - to come along, have fun, get creative, worship and enjoy fellowship with others in a new way. So why not come along and try it out?! Monday Evening House Group - 7.30pm to 9.30pm

A house group takes place at the home of Russell and Ginni Auld on Wednesdays.  More information can be obtained from the church office or from Russell and Ginni on (01577) 861136) if you are interested in attending this.

Care Home Service

Our church is proud to have an active involvement in serving the care home in our parish. A monthly services takes place at Ashley House in Milnathort on the first Thursday of every month at 2.30pm.  This is led by the minister along with regular volunteers.

At times there are additional services and worship opportunities to those listed here, for example at Easter and Christmas.  These will be published in the Upcoming Events section of our website.

There are regular opportunities throughout the week to meet together with others in prayer.

Prayer Meetings:      9am on Thursdays in Portmoak Church New Room

9am on Fridays in Orwell Church (currently suspended)

9.30am on Sundays in Portmoak Church New Room
