This is the website of the former Orwell and Portmoak Parish Church of Scotland, which has come into union alongside Fossoway: St Serf’s and Devonside, Cleish and Kinross Parish Churches, while also taking in the parish boundary of Arngask Parish, to form Kinross-shire Parish Church as of 1st January 2025.  Please bear with us while the relevant websites are updated in due course.

Kinross-shire Parish Church is led by a Team Ministry across the parish, Rev. Alan Reid and Rev. Alex Johnson, with Alex currently ordinarily leading worship at Orwell.

Would you like to stay connected with what’s happening across Kinross‑shire Parish Church?

A weekly email update is being launched parish-wide in the next few weeks, sharingnews, information and upcoming events from

local worship centres and across the parish. Stay connected with the life of the parish, even when you’re on holiday or not able to be at Sunday worship.

How to Sign Up

Email office@kinrossparishchurch.org or call (01577)862570, stating you wish to sign up for the weekly email. Please indicate which worship centre you usually attend. You can speak to Cara at Orwell for more information.

Our Worship Services

Join us at the following times for in-person worship:

Orwell Church, Milnathort - Sunday mornings at 11am

An all-age service with praise band also takes place In Orwell Church on the first Sunday of each month.

Portmoak Church, Scotlandwell - Evening service on the last Sunday of each month at 6.30pm

Messy Church - last Saturday of the month from 4pm to 6pm, during term time. Messy Church is a way of being church for families and others. It is designed for all ages and is based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. Next Messy Church is Saturday 26th April.
